What is C&TC?
C&TC stands for Child and Teen Checkups.
C&TC offers well-child health care for those age newborn through 20 years who receive Medicaid/Medical Assistance (MA).
Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC) include:
- Information about good physical and mental health
- Time to ask questions and get answers about your child's health, behavior and development
- Time to discuss thoughts, feelings and relationships
- Complete physical exam
- Immunizations
- Hearing check
- Vision check
- Lab tests
- Checks on development and growth
- Fluoride varnish applications
- Referral to the dentist
Child and Teen Checkups meet the health requirements for childcare, WIC, Early Childhood Screenings, Head Start, preschool, camps and school sports. Be sure to bring any forms that you need filled out with you.
Get Checkups:
Between birth and one month .......... and
At 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24 and 30 MONTHS .......... and
EVERY YEAR STARTING AT AGE 3 TO 20 YEARS OLD
(3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20)
You can get Child and Teen Well Child Checkups to age 12 at one of our Public Health Nurse clinics located throughout Cass County. Please call 218-547-6873 for the location nearest you. Public Health’s professional staff will get to know you and your child and do a thorough job! You can also get Child and Teen Checkups (ages 0-20) at your local doctor’s office. Make sure to ask for a Child & Teen Checkup!
